Good hotels in Patong and how long should I stay there?

If you want a cheap place to stay in Patong that is close to the beach and also close to Soi Bangla the Patong Beach Inn has a/c rooms with shower etc and the location is very good. About THB 800 a night for a room.Other cheap ones are Lamai Inn from about THB 700, Patong Beach Lodge, Tropica Bungalow is a little more but good swimming pool. Toy Beach Residence another cheap place to stay. There are others further away from the busy are that are cheap but you may need to take a tuk tuk so that will add to the cost. The Beach Inn is close to everything and cheap.
