In the USA has Gymnastics overtaken FIgure Skating in terms of Olympic sport popularity?

i think that they are more equal in popularity, the only reson Shawn Jonhson and Nastia's fame is buzzing everywhere is because the olympics ended not to long ago for them. Wait till skating season starts and there will be more action in skating.
