I got a piercing kit for my lip any good tips to numbing?

the anticipation of knowing im going to do it is really whats killing me i've had my snake bites done by a proffetional before but when i got a job they made me take them out and i didnt have a retainer for them, so they healed up but now im working in construction and they really just dont care so time to get it done again woot! but doing it yourself is a pain in the *** and need some numbing tips so i can just get this thing through, any advice would be nice thanks =S
