How much would you pay for a pet portrait?

It isn't a bad painting, better than I could do, but I would expect a sincerely accurate depiction of the animal before I paid more than a few dollars. I recommend honing your skills as an artist before you go into business. Even your early work will be judged by those that see it, so it's important to be very accomplished at your craft before you start charging money.
