Den of Shadows series? Forest of the night? 10 pts for first answer!?

Okay so this series, Den Of Shadows. Are the books all different stories? And is the series about romance and vampires, because I caught that impression. Anyone who has read it whats your opinion and those who havent I dont wnat to give my self spoilers otherwise I would read to answer these questions myself. Thanks so much!!! :)
