Have 2 Friends that don't like each other, how to deal with them?

I was in the same situation you are in this past summer....my best friend (person A) didnt like my new friend (person B) and her friends...it was so hard being in the middle...b/c person A and B didnt want me talking to the other....so I eventually cut all ties with person A and person B....but I had an emotional connection with person A....so its even harder and now Im trying to reconnect with him...
